Urban Regeneration

·         CoUrbIT will allow the definition of a model of urban regeneration management, compatible with the European Spatial Development Perspective, which could be applied throughout the EU. This model will supply the effective and efficient management of regeneration projects and will consequently attract more investment capitals and gain a competitive advantage, thanks to new functions which will substitute obsolete ones. The application of the model should assure both flexibility to public administration actions, according to the specificities of the areas, as well as reliable administrative procedures and timeframes;

CoUrbIT could improve Public Administrations skills through specific training actions based on e-learning  technologies. Local PAs will be able to foster urban economic development, choosing the most appropriate functions and investments to develop, according to their economic and social background. CoUrbIT could highlight the most efficient approach in urban regeneration.
