To support the use of renewable Energy sources and to increase Energy efficiency
Obiettivi
- To work out an innovative method for local authorities on an International level- giving to decision makers and to stakeholders an active role – to increment the efficiency of energy consumption and increase the use of the renewable energies (keeping, anyway, in consideration the negative effects) - To create International networks aimed at improving Energy efficiency and increasing the use of renewable Energy by local authorities in the European Union through effective methods for the management of energy offer. - To transfer the used tools to increase the use of renewable energy and energy efficiency on a local/regional level through pilot actions - To give a clear picture on local renewable sources and on the demand for energy by European Countries - To turn concepts into regional/national policies - To increase the awareness on the benefits of the renewable energies and of the energy saving.
